About Us

The Jonn “P.B.R.” Memorial Foundation

The Jonn “PBR” DuClau Memorial Foundation is a non-profit based out of Rhode Island that supports Operation Iraqi Freedom/Operation Enduring Freedom Veterans who were wounded/injured during their service  (Cancers, PTSD, TBI, Depression, Physical Injuries, etc.) with financial assistance.

If there is a need for mortgage or rental assistance, we will pay it. If they need groceries in their house or gas in their car, we’ll pay for it. If they are paying medical bills and are worried about providing a great Christmas for their children, we will make sure Santa doesn’t miss their house. If their child wants to go to summer camp and it’s not something they can afford, we are there for them.

Along with the day-to-day financial assistance, we also provide scholarships to deserving High School Seniors, with an emphasis on community service, who are family members of these Veterans!

We do all of this because….

In the Spring of 2018, Sgt. Jonnathon R. DuClau was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer. The cancer was traced back to his two tours of service in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. For nine months, Jonn and his family fought an uphill battle and in January of 2019 it was lost. He left behind his wife of fifteen years, and his two sons, as well as his parents, older sister and her family which includes his two nephews.

Jonn was passionate about anything that helped his fellow Veterans regardless of their service era. He would do anything for anyone in need. So, after his passing, his sister Cassi and wife Amanda decided to start the Jonn P.B.R. DuClau Memorial Foundation in his memory. Our goal is to continue to support Jonn’s love for his brothers and sisters in arms in any way we can.

The Jonn “PBR” DuClau Memorial Foundation is a small organization looking to make a big impact in our local Veteran community.
